SAT & ACT Math Preparation
Our SAT and ACT preparation focuses on mathematics. We begin with an introductory assessment to understand the student’s mathematics strengths, learning needs, and goals.
Dr. K Learning Studio combines mathematics content review, problem-solving strategies, pacing, study planning, and targeted practice. We identify learning gaps and use preparation time strategically.
Dr. K helps students use the built-in SAT Desmos calculator effectively for mathematical problem-solving.
Academic Coaching & Study Skills
Academic Coaching & Study Skills: Students sometimes know the material but struggle with how to learn it effectively.

College Mathematics & Statistics: College courses move quickly, and falling behind can make each new topic more difficult.
Dr. K Learning Studio provides individualized support for college students who need help understanding concepts, completing coursework, preparing for exams, or strengthening prerequisite skills. Support is available for a range of foundational to advanced mathematics and statistics courses, with instruction focused on understanding the reasoning behind the mathematics, rather than simply memorizing procedures. The goal is to help students succeed in current and future college courses.
Homeschool, FLVS & Virtual Learning Support
Homeschool, FLVS & Virtual Learning Support: Independent and virtual learning offer flexibility, but students may still need direct instruction and academic support.
Dr. K Learning Studio works with homeschool, FLVS Flex, virtual-school, and other independent learners who need additional mathematics instruction, course support, test preparation, or academic coaching. Support can complement the student’s existing curriculum while addressing individual learning needs and academic goals.
